Letting go doesn’t happen once. It happens a lot of times, a thousand times perhaps. You let go when you see someone who walks like him and you choose to look away. You let go when you see his comment on your common friends on social media and you don’t click on his name to check his profile. You let go when you want to order that food he likes and you turn the menu on another page instead. You let go when you see his old love letters and stop yourself from reading it over and over again. You let go when you go back to all the places you both have been to and you choose to make new memories instead. You let go everyday. Each time you know he has a part of it in you, you let go. And until each one of him in you is released, you’ll continue to let go.
