“Dear God, I thank You for each disturbing or humbling situation in my life, for each breaking or cleansing process You are allowing, for each problem or hindrance, for each thing that triggers in me – anxiety or anger or pain. And I thank You in advance for each disappointment, each demanding duty, each pressure, each interruption that may arise in the coming hours and days.” – Romans 8:28-29; 1 Peter 1:6-7
This day ended up opposite to what I was expecting. I felt like 9 hours passed by so fast and I finished my tasks before the actual deadline – not that they were really hard but I always feel satisfied going home without leaving my thoughts in the office or with my unfinished tasks. Today as every day, the Lord deserves to be thanked to. I have so much to be thankful about. My work, salary, career opportunities, colleagues, housemates, family, friends.. everything and everyone! I will always thank Him – even with the obstacles, the hardships, the pressures, the stress; because only then I would know I am alive.
“Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else. For we are each responsible for our own conduct.” – Galatians 6:4-5
