Hi! It’s my second day on my project and we’ve been doing KTs (knowledge transfer) for the next two weeks. I am tasked as a support on-call person which means that I will be receiving a support phone and laptop so onshore counterparts can call me at 2AM to report issues. Isn’t it great? Catch here is, the more you receive calls the higher your salary is. I am like a call center agent only with programming skills.
Anyway, I’m not sure if I can talk about my project but it’s a retail company in South Africa, don’t ask the name. I’m not at all familiar with the said company, I honestly only heard it when I got into Accenture. But I’m thrilled in the thought of being sent onshore. So yeah, that’s about it.
And because of confidentiality law, I cannot tell you everything though I really want to. Good night for now!
P.S. I had the most embarrassing moment today. I feel so bad that I’m going to sleep early.
